Dr Dave Lee

Graduate of the National University of Singapore Medical School is Dr. Dave Lee. In 2009, he completed his training to become an orthopaedic expert. He completed a sports surgery fellowship in Louisville, USA, with funding from the Singapore Ministry of Health, where he assisted in the surgical treatment and recovery of top NCAA College players. A fellowship in lower limb surgery focused on joint preservation and lower limb reconstructions was completed after that in Heidelberg, Germany. Dr. Lee is an expert in arthroscopic knee and shoulder repair with a focus on knee preservation. He has conducted more than 3000 arthroscopic procedures on the knee, shoulder, ankle, and hip over the past 12 years. Over 400 knee preservation treatments, such as osteotomies, meniscus transplants, cartilage repair and reconstruction, and over 1500 knee ligament reconstructions are included in this. From 2013 to 2017, he served as the Changi General Hospital Sports Medicine Centre's Director of Sports Surgery, collaborating with 4 other orthopaedic surgeons to support the group of sports physicians and provide surgical care to elite and amateur athletes. Dr. Dave Lee has received numerous honours for his clinical and investigative work, including the Japan Orthopaedic Association Fellowship in 2005, the Singapore Orthopaedic Association N Balachandran Prize in 2008, the APKASS-ESSKA Fellowship in 2010, the CGH Gold Caring Award in 2014, and the Singhealth Silver Award in 2018.
