Dr Bell David Paul

In 1995, Dr. David Paul Bell received his degree from the National University of Singapore. In October 2000, he received his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and in April 2002, the Academy of Medicine of Singapore awarded him a Masters of Medicine in Orthopaedics. In November 2005, he received his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics) after completing his orthopaedic surgery course. He received a Ministry of Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Scholarship to pursue training in the specialised disciplines of adult reconstruction in hip and knee arthroplasty and management of complex musculoskeletal trauma at Charite University in Berlin, Germany. He served as Consultant and Director of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Medicine prior to joining Island Orthopaedics. Dr. Bell's subspecialty interests include trauma, reconstructive surgery, and joint replacement. Dr. Bell frequently performs minimally invasive techniques for post-traumatic reconstructive surgery, surgery to correct deformities, hip and knee joint replacements, knee replacements using computer navigation and minimally invasive surgery, knee arthroscopies with anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage repair, and fracture surgery for the pelvis, upper and lower limbs.
