Dr Asif Qasim

Cardiology consultant Dr. Asif Qasim works as an NHS consultant at King's College Hospital and Croydon University Hospital, where he also serves as Clinical Director. He offers patients in Croydon and central London private cardiac services. He received honors and accolades for clinical medicine and research after he graduated from the University of Cambridge. In Cambridge, Birmingham, and London, he received his internal medicine and cardiology training. To finish his PhD in cardiovascular stem cell biology, he went back to Cambridge. In peer-reviewed journals, he has written articles on a variety of interventional and general cardiology topics. As an investigator for several clinical trials, Dr. Qasim continues to be involved in the field of cardiac research. Dr. Qasim performs all procedures involving coronary intervention and has a high level of skill in interventional cardiology. He received an interventional fellowship and spent a year in Milan focusing on cutting-edge research and developing new methods with an elite team. He continues to be involved in research and the creation of courses for medical professionals interested in interventional cardiology.
