Dr Chong Kian Tai

Urologist Dr. Chong Kian Tai practises in Singapore at Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He specialises in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testicles, and penile. Dr. Chong is skilled in a variety of surgical procedures, including the da Vinci Surgical System, a robotic surgical system, advanced keyhole laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery, and conventional open surgery. He focuses on a number of procedures for the treatment of urological cancers, such as the da Vinci robotic partial nephrectomy and the da Vinci robotic radial prostatectomy. These include focal therapy for prostate cancer, MRI-ultrasound fusion prostate biopsy, bladder cystoscopy with narrow-band imaging, and da Vinci robotic radial prostatectomy. He focuses on less invasive treatments for benign prostate hyperplasia, such as the UroLift, Rezum, and Prolieve procedures, when treating general urological conditions. He is also familiar with retrograde intrarenal surgery, which involves treating small kidney stones with laser surgery while using a flexible ureteroscope. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York, USA, Dr. Chong completed a full-time clinical Urologic Oncology Fellowship.
