Dr Christopher Goh Kok Hean

Dr. Goh has experience in a variety of orthopaedic specialties, including paediatric orthopaedics, spine surgery, adult reconstructive surgery, and trauma. Dr. Goh specialises on the non-surgical management and treatment of knee osteoarthritis through rehabilitation, pain management, biomechanics, and physical therapy in his role as resident doctor at the Inliven Center for Osteoarthritis Solutions. As a frequent lecturer at corporate and public health presentations, he also contributes to raising awareness of knee pain and osteoarthritis in the general public. Dr. Goh has worked extensively in the fields of general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, upper gastrointestinal, endocrine surgery, gastroenterology, vascular, breast, surgical intensive care unit, internal medicine, hepatology, and hand and micro-reconstructive surgery during his more than ten years of clinical practise. He oversaw patient cases at numerous hospitals, including Singapore General Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, National University Hospital, KK Women's and Children Hospital, and West Point General Hospital. Additionally, he served as the Jurong Island on-site physician for Exxon Mobil, where he concentrated on work-related injuries and occupational health issues. Dr. Goh, an Intercollegiate Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow, UK), earned his medical and surgical bachelor's degrees as well as his master's degree in orthopaedic surgery from the National University of Singapore. The Fortitude Awards for SARS Warriors were given to Dr. Goh in 2004 for his unselfish dedication and courage displayed during the 2003 SARS crisis. Dr. Goh is a prominent member of the Sports Medicine Association of Singapore (SMAS).
