Dr Jonathan Behar

Consultant cardiologist Dr. Jonathan Behar specializes in treating patients with abnormal cardiac rhythms. Dr. Behar attended the Royal Free and University College Medical Schools and graduated with honors. He then pursued a general medicine and cardiology fellowship in north London. Prior to accepting his current job, he worked as a consultant at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals and received his training in cardiac rhythm treatment at the Barts Heart Centre. He is also recognized as a Certified Cardiac Devices Specialist and a Certified Electrophysiology Specialist by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners. Dr. Behar conducted ground-breaking research in conjunction with engineering, business, and clinical teams that resulted in the co-invention of an image guiding platform for individualized treatment of patients undergoing cardiac procedures that blends MRI and X-rays in real-time. In 2017, this project was put forward for a European Innovation Award. He continues to write articles in this area, and he frequently speaks at conferences both domestically and abroad.
