Dr Loo Jing Liang

Senior Consultant and Division Head of Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Singapore National Eye Centre is Dr. Loo Jing Liang. She serves as a visiting consultant for the National University Hospital and Changi General Hospital. At the SingHealth Duke-NUS Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Program, she serves as a clinical assistant professor. She graduated from Singapore's National University with a medical degree. In 2008, she finished her advanced studies as a specialist in ophthalmology and was admitted as a member of the Singapore Academy of Medicine and the Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons. She then started a one-year Neuro-Ophthalmology fellowship at the Singapore National Eye Centre after this. She spent a year at the Wilmer Eye Institute at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, after receiving the Higher Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) award from the Ministry of Health in 2009. There, Professor Neil Miller, a renowned expert in the field of neuro-ophthalmology, served as her preceptor as she received additional training in the subject.
