Dr Pramod Reddy

With over 23 years of expertise in adult, aortic, and paediatric cardiac surgery in reputable hospitals in India and overseas, Dr. Pramod Reddy is a renowned surgeon. He specialises in minimally invasive heart surgery, including CABG, valve replacement, Bentall, as well as partial AV canal, partial AVSD, and ASD procedures. His training in minimally invasive cardiac surgery was completed at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in the UK. In minimally invasive heart surgery, he created a novel direct cannulation approach that was published. He is particularly interested in operating on Aortic Aneurysms. He has carried out several difficult aortic aneurysm procedures. Additionally, he has completed the minimally invasive Bentall procedure. The largest aortic centre in the UK, Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, is where he completed his fellowship in aortic aneurysm surgery. He is one of the few cardiac surgeons in the world to have perfected the Off pump method, including Off pump atrial septostomy, Off pump Glenn, Off pump Fontan, and Off pump Kawashima. He has extensive knowledge of video aided thoracic surgery for lung and thoracic illnesses. He has carried numerous operations on Covid patients who experienced problems. He also regularly fixes the aortic and mitral valves. In connection with his fellowship in paediatric cardiac surgery at Alder Hey Hospital IK, he was affiliated with the Royal College of Edinburgh.
