Dr. Rakesh Chugh earned his MBBS at UCMS and GTB Hospital in New Delhi, his MS in General Surgery at Safdarjung Hospital, and his DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre in New Delhi. He has successfully performed over 4000 cardiac surgeries. His residency in Minimally Access Cardiac Surgery was completed at Leipzig, Germany. He has a lot of expertise in Complex Cardiac Lesions, Left Main Disease, Redo CABG, Redo Valves, Minimally Access CABG, AVR, MVR, Carotid Endarterectomy, and so on. Dr. Chugh specialises in Aorto-bifemoral Bypass, Femoropopliteal Bypass, Peripheral Angiography, and Permcath Thoracic procedures such as Decortication, Lobectomies, and VATS. He is a member of the Indian Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, the Indian Vascular Society, the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeons, the Indian Medical Association, and the Delhi Medical Association.
