Dr Tan Siau Woon Jacqueline

At Thomson Surgical Center, hand surgeon Dr. Jacqueline Tan practises. She specialises in microsurgical reconstruction of the upper limb, open and endoscopic peripheral nerve procedures, and reconstruction of brachial plexus injuries. Additionally, she is particularly interested in ligament repair for wrist instability, hand and wrist arthritis, fractures of the hand and wrist, and wrist arthroscopy. After completing her studies in hand surgery in Singapore, Dr. Tan was given a Health Manpower Development Plan fellowship scholarship by the Ministry of Health in 2010. She specialises in brachial plexus surgery and cutting-edge microsurgery. She is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. At Singapore General Hospital, she served as the department's former head and senior consultant for hand and reconstructive microsurgery (SGH). She was also the director of the SGH's peripheral nerve and paralysed upper limb services as well as the micro-reconstruction service.
