Dr Terence Aik Huang Tan

Medical oncology is the area of expertise for Dr. Terence Tan. He completed a Masters of Science in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College, London, UK, after earning his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He finished his residency in internal medicine at SUNY Buffalo in New York, USA, and then pursued a clinical fellowship in medical oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in the same city. Dr. Tan has expertise managing and treating cancer patients across the globe. He has held roles at the National Cancer Center Singapore, Central Care Cancer Centre Kansas, USA, OncoSolutions Cancer Centre Singapore, and Icon SOC Singapore, among other clinical academic and private practise settings. Dr. Tan supports clinical trials and takes part in numerous international trials examining various cancer types. He has created a thorough clinical trials planner that helps people find their way among the numerous studies that are offered globally. Additionally, Dr. Tan has created a lifestyle programme to assist individuals in following the World Cancer Research Fund's cancer prevention recommendations. Dr. Tan's research has pioneered and produced unique cancer bio-devices for cancer treatment and has been awarded two EDB biomedical sciences proof-of-concept research awards. His clinical interests include solid tumours, cancer immunotherapy, precision oncology, clinical trials, cancer genetics, genetic test counselling, gastrointestinal malignancies, hepatobiliary cancers, genitourinary cancers, gynaecological cancers, melanoma, head and neck cancers, and solid tumours.
