Prof Ng Wai Hoe

Currently serving as the CEO of Changi General Hospital (CGH) and Senior Consultant for the Department of Neurosurgery at the National Neuroscience Institute is Dr. Ng Wai Hoe (NNI). Prior to this, he served as the SingHealth Duke-NUS Neuroscience Academic Clinical Program's Academic Chair, Academic Director for the National Neuroscience Institute, and Deputy Chairman for the SingHealth Medical Board. Dr. Ng is a neurosurgeon who specialises in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, and neurosurgical oncology (brain tumors). He completed residency training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital in Australia, and he is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He received subspecialty training in neuro-oncology at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Children's Hospital, stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Toronto Western Hospital, and paediatric neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto). He also served as a visiting scholar and Sugita Fellow at Nagoya University.
