Our ancestors used the science of Ayurveda for healing for thousands of people over a century, from the royal courtyards to the requirements of the common man. When we reflect on the past, we can see that Dr. AK Sethumadhavan, the late Chathu Vaidyar's grandson, pioneered Ayurveda in the entire Palakkad district as well as other nearby areas in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. He served as Kollangodu Raja's personal physician and was renowned for his tenacity, straightforwardness, and humility. His efforts to reach out to patients' homes during the deadly typhoid epidemic are still praised for saving hundreds of lives. His dedication to the sick and the zeal with which he practised authentic Ayurveda are always a source of inspiration. Now, the hospital and the Ayurvedic practise have reached new heights under the leadership of his son, Dr. S. Narayanan, the institution's chief physician. Under the direction of their father, his sons Drs. Gokul Narayanan and Govind Narayan represent the hospital's fifth generation of doctors. Ayurveda by Amrithakripa Narayana Chikitsalayam is adapting to the changing world and lifestyles while upholding the fundamental principles and priceless knowledge of ayurveda that our ancestors in our family of doctors passed down through the generations. Our facility, which is housed in the village of Chitilamchery and is encircled by verdant paddy fields and the far-off hills of the western ghats, runs a 24-hour inpatient department in addition to an outpatient one. Under the direction of our doctors, the specialised panchkarma theatre, skilled masseurs, physiotherapists, and nursing staff guarantee a rich experience of authentic Ayurveda that promotes a complete healing of the mind and body. The medications we provide to our patients are created in-house under strict quality control standards to ensure their efficacy.
