"The family-run Pranavam Ayurveda Treatment Center is an outpost of the family home in Kerala's Manipuram, a small village close to Calicut. We maintain the historical core of the great science of life here. Guru, Brahmasree Valloor Sankaran Namboodiri, is a 95-year-old Ayurvedic scholar and toxicologist who is regarded as one of India's greatest experts. He is a member of a lengthy line of gurus who imparted knowledge to their students through the traditional master-apprentice method known as gurukula. After receiving my degree, I moved in with my guru and spent two and a half years in a remote part of the Western Ghats honing my skills and learning directly from the source before opening Pranavam. You could say that my wife, Dr. Diana Sreejith, has Ayurveda in her bones because she comes from a long line of female doctors, including her grandmother, mother, and sister. Patients frequently praise Diana for her profound healing abilities and her innate ability to discern their specific medical requirements. Maybe our daughter will get some of her mother's talents too! The world's oldest active medical system is ayurveda. It is frequently misinterpreted as a pseudoscience or only considered in the context of its miraculous rejuvenating properties. However, Ayurveda is a complete branch of medicine. In contrast to Western medicine, Ayurveda believes that each person is intimately connected to the universe; as a result, medical diagnosis takes a wide range of lifestyle and environmental factors into account, and medical treatment transcends the boundaries of the individual's physical body. We believe in treating the whole person, so we are just as concerned about your mental and spiritual well-being as we are about your physical one. Diana or I will conduct a thorough medical evaluation and suggest a treatment plan for you when you first join us at Pranavam. We will then take care of you along with our medical team and centre staff.
