"Njallakattu Group's venture, Rishi Ayurveda, A family from Poonjar, a town at the base of the Western Ghats, extols the virtues of its illustrious past as the seat of the Poonjar Kingdom. The family's history in medicine dates back more than 200 years, and the ancestors were palace doctors during the Poonjar dynasty. Being from the traditional ayurvedic family, the group strives to offer patients top-notch care at reasonable prices. With this in mind, the Njallakattu family launched Rishi Research Products as its first business venture in the early 1990s. Numerous medications for conditions like diabetes, headaches, high cholesterol, allergies, dandruff, psoriasis, ulcers, etc. have been developed by Rishi Research Products. In 2010, the company launched its next project, the Rishi Ayurveda Hospital and Research Center, to go along with its expanding presence in Kerala.
