The American College of Emergency Physicians awarded the Bronze Standard for Geriatrics Emergency Department Accreditation (GEDA) to Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, the first and only hospital in Southeast Asia. At Samitivej Children's Hospitals, he serves as the pediatrician in chief. A fellowship in haematology, oncology, and brain tumours was awarded to PROFESSOR SURADEJ HONGENG, M.D. from the United States, and he holds a medical degree from the American board of paediatric haematology and oncology. In addition to being a co-investigator on a project with the group at the National institute of health, he is the primary investigator of clinical research at numerous hospitals and institutions in Thailand (US). PANU NACHAROONG, M.D. received his medical degree from the Thai Board of Neurosurgery at the Bhumibol Adulyadej Hospital. He also received many certificates from the AACPN for advanced training in paediatric neurosurgery. He specialises in paediatric shunt, hydrocephalus, and brain tumour surgery.
