Dr Gerald Tan Yau Min

The urology specialist Dr. Gerald Tan is highly known for his proficiency in robotic and minimally invasive surgery as well as for prostate, kidney, and bladder malignancies. Dr. Tan was one of the first doctors in Singapore to conduct robotic partial nephrectomy for early kidney cancer and robotic radical cystectomy for muscle-invasive bladder cancer. He has participated in over 1,500 robotic radical prostatectomies. Dr. Tan performs sophisticated pelvic cancer reconstruction operations and is skilled in robotic and advanced laparoscopic treatments. Dr. Tan led the creation of the hospital's inpatient-care pathway for patients receiving robotic prostatectomy before going into private practise. Dr. Tan served as the surgical proctor for the Tan Tock Seng Hospital Robotic Urology Task Force. Dr. Tan is the recognised winner of the famous Ferdinand and has won various other prominent worldwide academic accolades and awards. His additional specialties include the minimally invasive and endoscopic therapy of prostate illnesses and urinary stones. He was then hired as staff and worked as a fellowship director and attending neurologist at the department of neurology while he was there. Beyond his clinic and patients, Dr. Siow is dedicated to his field in general. He participates in a number of organisations that support sufferers of headache issues in Singapore and the surrounding countries through education and support. He presently serves as the Headache Society of Singapore's president and a member of the Pain Association of Singapore's executive committee. Additionally, he played a key role in founding the Asian Headache Foundation, where he currently serves as Secretary.
