BIOGRAPHY

Specialist in treating patients with hematological malignancies, Dr. Kirit Ardeshna. He is actively involved in clinical trial research and has a special interest in non-Hodgkin's and Hodgkin's lymphoma. He participates in the Hodgkin's, high-grade, and low-grade lymphoma study groups at the National Cancer Research Institute. He serves as the Lymphoma Association's medical advisor. He has been the Chair of the Blood Cancer UK Clinical Advisory Group and Divisional Clinical Director for Cancer at UCLH. He has also served as the director of the haematology pathway for London Cancer. Jan. 2014–Feb. 2012. He served as the UCH MacMillan Cancer Center's lead clinician. Aug 2011-14. He obtained his Fellowship in the Royal College of Pathologists in 2008, as well as his Fellowship in the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. He has held positions as honorary consultant at Mount Vernon Cancer Center since 2002 and consultant haemato-oncologist at UCLH since 2002. He attended medical school at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, and University College London from 1984 to 1990. As part of his haematology study, he rotated through Great Ormond Street, Whittington, and Mount Vernon Cancer Center.
