Dr Koh Yeow Hoay

Currently serving as Senior Consultant Neurologist at Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital, Dr. Koh Yeow Hoay heads the department of neurology at Changi General Hospital. The University of Malaya awarded Dr. Koh a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2004. His advanced specialist training in neurology at Singapore General Hospital was completed in 2014 after he earned membership in the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP UK) in 2009. His clinical neurophysiology and movement disorder fellowship training took place at the University of Toronto in Canada. Clinical Neurophysiology, Movement Disorders, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and intraoperative neuromonitoring are his areas of subspecialty interest (IONM). He is a clinical instructor at the three Singaporean medical schools as well as an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School (Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine). He serves as site director for the senior residency programme in geriatric medicine, clinical physician faculty member (CPFM) of the SingHealth Neurology Residency Program, and Clinical Core Faculty Member of the SingHealth Residency Program for Internal Medicine Residency Training.
