BIOGRAPHY

A neurologist by the name of Dr. Lee Kim En works at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. His therapeutic specialties include the treatment of strokes and acute care medicine. At the National University of Singapore (NUS), Dr. Lee earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1993. In 1996, he subsequently joined the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom. At the Massachusetts General Hospital, the teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, where he collaborated with neurologists, he completed his specialist training in neurology and was given a clinical and research fellowship in stroke and critical care neurology. In Rochester, Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic offered him a fellowship as well. At the National Neuroscience Institute in Singapore, where patients from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), Alexandra Hospital, and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital were treated, Dr. Lee previously served as deputy director, director of education, and head of the department of neurology (KTPH). The National Medical Research Council of the Ministry of Health and the Singapore Armed Forces currently employ Dr. Lee as a visiting consultant. He participates in the continuing medical education committee, the nursing and allied health committee, and the medical advisory board of the Mount Elizabeth Hospital.
