Dr. Murray J. berall

Dr. Murray Berall completed his genetics degree at McGill University before enrolling in Dalhousie University's medical programme. At the University of Toronto, he finished his post-graduate training in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Berall was the inaugural president of the medical staff at Humber River Hospital after serving as president of the medical staff at Northwestern General Hospital for four years. He oversaw the development of the original programme as HRH's first Director of Dialysis. His current research interests are in the area of sleep medicine, including how it affects and is managed in hypertensive patients as well as how it contributes to morbidity in CKD patients.
