BIOGRAPHY

Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust hired Fiona Castell as a consultant in 2011. She received her medical degree from the University of London's Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, and she completed her clinical oncology residency at St. Bartholomew's Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital. She completed a master's degree in healthcare law and ethics in 2011 at the University of Manchester, and she has previously served on a research ethics committee. She has a particular interest in medical law and ethics. In 2017, she was chosen to serve as the GSK Medical School's clinical lead for ethics and law. Additionally, she actively instructs a variety of medical specialists, including in the King's Mammography Screening course. She co-directs the acute oncology service at King's College Hospital and collaborates with Dr. Mark Nathan on the breast cancer practice there.
