The Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMGfounder, )'s Dr. T.M.A. Pai, founded the Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Karnataka, in 1953, sowing the seeds of our foundation. With the opening of our 650-bed flagship hospital in Whitefield, Bangalore, Manipal Hospitals as a company came into being. With more than 7600 beds spread over 27 hospitals, we are currently one of India's top healthcare organisations. Dr. D S Chadha is a licenced physician with more than 30 years of expertise. Dr. Chadha works at Fortis Hospital Vasant Kunj as the Associate Director of Internal Medicine. He specialises in the treatment of headaches, fits (epilepsy), and other neurological diseases. He also addresses back and neck discomfort. In these circumstances, his emphasis is on proper diagnosis and non-surgical treatment options (as far as possible). He specialises in skull base surgery (pituitary tumours), which involves removing the adenoma through the nose. He also performs on the spine with a tiny incision (minimally invasive spine surgery) for slip disc and spondylolysis, with a shorter recovery period and smaller incisions.
