Michael Irwin served as the Clinical Director of the Department of Plastic Surgery from 2003 to 2010 and is currently a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Addenbrooke's NHS Hospital in Cambridge. He is an active member of both the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). Professor Charles Knight is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and the Clinical Director of Cardiovascular Services at Barts and the London NHS Trust, one of the largest Cardiovascular departments in the UK. He received his training at Cambridge and Oxford Universities. He served as Honorary Secretary of the British Cardiovascular Society, the association for UK cardiologists and other medical professionals interested in cardiovascular medicine, from 2008 to 2011. He has authored more than 60 academic publications on topics related to acute coronary syndromes, renal and cardiac illness, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He is frequently asked to give lectures at national and international conferences, and at major conferences like EuroPCR and TCT, he has actually practiced coronary angioplasty in real time. Mr. Parsons is a consultant orthopedic surgeon with offices at St. Edmunds Hospital and West Suffolk Hospital. At the prestigious Wrightington Hospital in Wigan, which was founded by Sir John Charnley, the creator of the Charnley Hip replacement, Mr. Parsons undertook a fellowship in joint replacement. His fellowship in Wrightington exposed him to all facets of primary and revision joint replacement, using both newer, more modern approaches to joint preservation and replacement along with several tried-and-true techniques.
