BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Richard Davies is a professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and the Division of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
Dr. Davies graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Dalhousie University in Halifax in 1971. He then attended McGill University in Montreal for his MSc, PhD, MD, and CM degrees. He was elected a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology in 1987 and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in 1984. Since 1986, Dr. Davies has served as a cardiologist at the Heart Institute.
