BIOGRAPHY

The Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is where Dr. Diego Delgado received his medical degree. In Hospital Espanol in Buenos Aires, he finished his training in internal medicine and cardiology. At Rush Presbyterian St Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, he later finished a research fellowship in heart transplantation. In the Toronto General Hospital, he did a research and clinical residency in heart failure and transplantation. At the University of Toronto and the Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Dr. Delgado earned his Masters of Science in clinical epidemiology. The Reuben and Florence Fenwick Family Chair in the Medical Treatment of Heart Failure is held by Dr. Delgado. Dr. Delgado is a member of the University's Heart Failure, Transplantation and Mechanical Assist Device Program and a transplant cardiologist.
