Dr Gideon Cohen

The cardiology team at Cleveland Clinic Canada benefits greatly from the depth of experience that Gideon Cohen, MD, has to offer. In addition to hundreds of cardiac operations around North America, Dr. Cohen is also a world-renowned expert in the field of heart surgery research. He has published more than 50 studies in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and gives talks across North America as well as in Europe and Asia. Dr. Cohen is the Chief of Cardiac Surgery in the Division of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at Sunnybrook Hospital's Schulich Heart Centre in addition to being a cardiologist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Dr. Cohen also serves as the Program Director for the University of Toronto's Cardiac Surgery Residency Training Program in addition to being the Head of the Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgical Program at the Schulich Heart Centre and an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery.
