BIOGRAPHY
At the Université of Ottawa Heart Institute, Dr. Munir Boodhwani teaches as an Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiac Surgery. Prior to this, he was the Residency Training Program's Program Director. Aortic valve repair, open and endovascular treatment of severe thoracic aorta pathologies, transcatheter valve therapies, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation are among the clinical interests of Dr. Boodhwani. The Thoracic Aortic Program of the Ottawa Heart Institute was founded by Dr. Boodhwani, who also serves as co-director.
