BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Hani Amad is an assistant professor in the University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine and an invasive cardiologist with the University Health Network. He received his medical degree from the University of Alberta in 2002. In 2008, he finished his internal medicine and adult cardiology residency studies at the University of Toronto. At the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, he then finished a fellowship in interventional cardiology (PMCC). Dr. Amad has held numerous leadership positions in education and is passionate about medical education. The Cardiology Block of the Foundations Curriculum for first-year medical students is co-led by him. He is a member of the Adult Cardiology Residency Program Education/Examination Committee and the PMCC Cardiac Catheterization Rotation Coordinator.
