Dr Mohammed Tauqeer Ahmad

At Singapore's Gleneagles Hospital, neurologist Dr. Mohammad Tauqeer Ahmad practises. He is particularly interested in neuroimmunology, epilepsy, and movement disorders. He has experience with neuro-intervention to treat strokes. After earning his degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in India, Dr. Ahmad joined the Royal College of Physicians in London. He earned his fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in the UK while doing his internal medicine master's degree at the National University of Singapore (NUS). In addition, he is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and holds fellowships in internal medicine and neurology from the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He joined Singapore General Hospital (SGH) as a medical officer after completing his residency at AMU and worked in a variety of departments including internal medicine, haematology, cardiology, and neurology. He finished both his fundamental and advanced studies at the National Neuroscience Institute (SGH), where he later moved on to become a registrar. At the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS, he also served as a clinical tutor.
