Russo, Juan

The University of Ottawa Heart Institute's interventional cardiologist and clinician investigator is Dr. Juan Russo. He is also an assistant professor at the Université of Ottawa's Department of Medicine. 2011 saw Dr. Russo graduate from McMaster University with a medical degree. He finished his internal medicine and adult cardiology residencies at the University of Toronto and the Université of Ottawa Heart Institute, respectively. At the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, he completed his fellowship training in interventional cardiology, and at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, he completed specialist training in complex, higher-risk procedures and advanced hemodynamic care. 2019 saw Dr. Russo join the Université of Ottawa Heart Institute's Division of Cardiology. Both the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and Columbia University's Shock Committee have had Dr. Russo as a member.
