Dr. Anand Kumar received his MBBS and MD [General Medicine] degrees from the Medical College of Trivandrum. He completed his post-doctoral studies in Neurology at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, a nationally recognised institute. He joined the faculty of Trivandrum Medical College after receiving his DM in Neurology. In 1989, after a brief stint at Medical College, he joined the Ministry of Health in Sharjah as a specialist Neurologist. In Sharjah, he created the Department of Neurology at Al Qassimi and Kuwait Hospitals. In 1999, he moved to India and joined the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. He established Amrita's Neurosciences Division, which today has the capacity of a tertiary care referral facility and ten professionally educated neurologists. He has a number of papers to his name and is particularly interested in cognitive neurology, sleep medicine, and biomedical research. Dr. Praveen Varma graduated from Calicut Medical College in Kerala with an MBBS in 1992 and an MS in General Surgery in 1996. In the year 2000, he received his MCh from the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology in Trivandrum. He thereafter became a Lecturer in Cardiac Surgery at the Medical College of Trivandrum. Until 2005, he was an Assistant Professor at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology in Trivandrum. He then became a Resident in Cardio Thoracic Surgery at Boston Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident until 2008. "Dr. Rajesh R. Nair is a Professor and the Director of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation Services at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi. He specialises in chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation, transplant immunology, research, and management. He was a key member of the pioneering team that was essential in establishing deceased organ transplantation in the state. He has eighteen years of Nephrology teaching experience and is a member of the Indian and International Societies of Nephrology, the European Dialysis and Transplant Association, and the American Society of Nephrology. He sat on the executive committee of the Indian Society of Nephrology Southern Chapter. He has presented invited talks in a variety of academic settings, published papers in national and international journals, and written chapters for textbooks. He serves as a regular peer reviewer for publications submitted to the Indian Journal of Nephrology. Dr. Rajesh Thachathodiyl earned his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) degrees from S.C.B. Medical College Cuttack in Orissa. In 1998, he joined Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (Amrita Hospital) as faculty after completing his cardiology residency at K.M.C. Manipal. Dr. Rajesh has worked in Interventional Cardiology for fifteen years. He has extensive expertise doing rotablations, CTO recanalization, left main interventions, saphenous vein graft interventions, carotid artery interventions, endovascular stent grafts, and other peripheral treatments. He has advocated for Radial Access Interventions in Amrita and is recognised nationally and worldwide in this specialty. Dr. Rajesh is a regular faculty member at the 'Kamakura Live' Summit in Japan and the CTO Summit in Kobe, Japan, in addition to holding the first 'AMRITA TRANSRADIAL SUMMIT' in Amrita Hospital, Kochi in 2008, where Dr. Shigero Saito was the International Faculty.
