NMC Specialty Hospital Dubai is a multispecialty hospital that was founded in October 2004 and offers the people of Dubai and the Northern Emirates dependable, high-quality healthcare services. The hospital enjoys direct billing capabilities with the insurance companies and third party administrators and is affiliated with all major national and international insurance companies (TPA). The hospital has the following amenities: 72 patient rooms are available. Ten ICU beds, ten NICU beds, and four operating rooms are available. There are 125 doctors. The hospital runs a modern laboratory with a wide range of investigative tools and a centralised computerised system to support it. The hospital has a partnership with Biomnis in France for specialised tests and investigations that are not offered locally. Modern technology is available in the Radiology department, which includes a patient-friendly closed MRI (1.5 tesla), 64 Slice - Dual Source Siemens Definition MDCT CT scanner, 4-D Ultrasound with Color Doppler, Digital Fluoroscopy, Mammogram, and Digital X-Ray systems supported by a fully integrated PACS system. The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore awarded Dr. Ajit Kumar his D. M. in neurology in 1999. At the Pacific Parkinson's Research Centre at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, he later finished a two-year fellowship in movement disorders. Initially an Assistant Professor of Neurology at St. John's Medical College in Bangalore, Dr. Ajit later rose to the position of Consultant at Mumbai's Wockhardt Brain and Spine Hospital. German board certified consultant interventional cardiologist Dr. Ala Eldin Farasin. He received his medical training at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, where he also passed the German boards for internal medicine and cardiology. He has received in-depth training in advanced interventional cardiology, as well as CRT and pacemaker therapy for ICDs and technical certifications in rescue service, echocardiography, and radiation protection training. Medical oncologist Dr. Dhanaraju Muniswamy has been practising for more than 18 years. Prior to receiving his MD (Internal Medicine) from MR Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka, India, he earned his MBBS at Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College in Kolar, Karnataka, India. Later, in 2015, he earned his DM (Medical Oncology) from the esteemed JIPMER, Puducherry, India. Additionally, he has earned his ECMO certification in medical oncology (European College of Medical Oncology). Before joining NMC, Dr. Dhanaraju served as a consultant medical oncologist at the American Oncology Institute in Andhra Pradesh, India, and the ADK Hospital in the Maldives. Dr. Shahzad Sarosh Bulsara is a skilled endovascular specialist and peripheral vascular surgeon. He holds Diplomate of National Board (DNB) degrees in General Surgery and Peripheral Vascular Surgery from India, as well as a Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from Salzburg, Austria. He is skilled in both open and endovascular procedures for central venous access, which is necessary for things like chemotherapy and hemodialysis. At Al Mustansiriya Medical College in Iraq, Dr. Wael earned his M.B.Ch.B. He then received his Fellowship from the Iraqi Board of Medical Specialization in Internal Medicine. Both a C.A.B.M. in internal medicine and an F.I.C.M.S. in nephrology were awarded to him. Both the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Nephrology awarded Dr. Wael fellowships in 2012 and 2014, respectively. Since 2006, he has served as the department's chief of nephrology and dialysis at NMC Specialty Hospital. Dr. Wael has 19 years of experience. In the Al Kadhemya University Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Wael worked for two years as a Senior Registrar in General Internal Medicine and for four years as a Specialist Physician. He spent three years in that position at Al Karamah Teaching Hospital in Baghdad, Iraq, one of the country's major tertiary hospitals and known for its kidney transplantation programme.
