Consultant orthopedic surgeon Professor Richard Field specializes in the treatment of hip-related conditions. At St. George's University of London, he teaches orthopaedic surgery. At the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC), where he served as the Director of Research from 2004 to 2021, he conducts his NHS clinical practice. He serves as the Journal of Hip Preservation Surgery's Chief Editor. He conducts his own practice at SWLEOC and occasionally at Chelsea's Lister Hospital. Since 2008, Professor Field has operated on more than 2000 patients using the Direct Anterior (minimally invasive, muscle sparing) Hip Replacement technique, making him the most skilled surgeon in the UK. Consultant cardiologist Dr. Julian Collinson works at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Additionally, he provides private patient care at the Royal Brompton Hospital, where he serves as clinical director for medical specialties, as well as Cromwell Hospital, located at 77 Wimpole Street. Dr. Collinson specializes in coronary artery disease and is an expert in all facets of general cardiology, including interventional cardiology and the implantation of devices like pacemakers and defibrillators. An expert in urology, Mr. Bijan Khoubehi practices at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and The Lister Hospital. In 1994, he graduated from Westminster Medical School and Charing Cross. Mr. Khoubehi completed his urology training in London after completing basic surgical training. After completing his general urological training, he continued his medical studies by completing two fellowship years in urological oncology at the Charing Cross Hospital and the Royal Marsden Hospital. His academic success didn't stop there; he went on to receive an MD thesis for his investigation into the function of developmental genes in prostate cancer. Dr. Janssen is a skilled neurologist with a wide range of interests, including headache, migraine, transient ischemic attack (TIA), stroke, memory difficulties, and all general neurological symptoms, from tingling/numbness to tremor. Since 2005, Dr. Janssen has served as a consultant neurologist at Charing Cross, Royal Brompton, and Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals. He was named service director for neurology and stroke at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2015 after serving as clinical lead for TIA and neurology. He oversees the clinical staff at Chelsea and Westminster, personally lends acute neurology expertise to the Royal Brompton Hospital, and supports Charing Cross Hospital's hyperacute stroke program, which is the best in the UK. Dr. John Conibear finished his undergraduate general medical training in 2001 at the University Hospital of Wales, and he finished his post-graduate study in general medicine in 2006 at the Barts and The London Training rotation. He finished a 2-year fellowship with the NCRI Radiotherapy Trials Quality Assurance Group in Mount Vernon Hospital before obtaining his formal position as a consultant clinical oncologist in St. Bartholomew's Hospital in 2014. He did research on methods to enhance clinician target outlining during radiation planning while on his fellowship, and as a result, in 2018 he received an MD(Res) from UCL. At the moment, Dr. Conibear serves as the deputy medical director and director of the Barts Cancer Centre. Dr. Conibear specializes in all non-surgical methods of treating breast and lung cancer. He is skilled in modern radiotherapy techniques, such as deep inspiration breath-hold (DIBH) for early breast cancer, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), 4D-CT, and both the Cyberknife and Gamma Knife (stereotactic radiotherapy), as well as biological therapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy.
