"Karen, a Halifax, Nova Scotia, native, spent her childhood years in Antigonish before relocating to New Glasgow for high school. Karen graduated from New Glasgow High School with numerous academic honours and attended Dalhousie for one year in the Science department before switching to the Pharmacy programme. When Karen received her BSc in Pharmacy in 1985, she continued to thrive academically and received a number of accolades. Karen supported herself while attending dental school at Dalhousie for four years while working as a pharmacist in Halifax for one year. After earning her dental degree from Dalhousie University, Karen relocated right away to Ottawa and has been in practise there ever since May 1990. With her family-focused general dentistry practise, Karen enjoys introducing Preston Dental Centre's cutting-edge amenities to new patients. Karen is married, has a daughter, and enjoys spending time in Ottawa and Fort Myers with her family and friends, going skiing, and honing her impressive cooking talents." View Profile
Dr. Alleyn graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in 1978 and a DDS in 1983. Dr. Alleyn received his Diploma in Periodontics from the U.S. Army Dentistry in Fort Gordon, Georgia, in 1990. Dr. Alleyn received his fellowship from the Royal College of Dentistry of Canada and his diploma from the American Board of Periodontology in 1993. Since 1996, he has been a periodontics examiner for the Royal College of Canada. He served as a Councilor from 2004 to 2006, and from 2006 till the present, he has served as the Chief Examiner. Dr. Bayne is committed to providing cutting-edge dental care to her patients and the community. Dr. Bayne is delighted to offer her enthusiasm and experience to the Preston Dental Centre team. She has approximately ten years of experience in the Edmonton region. Dr. Bayne, who was raised in a small Manitoba town, graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a biology degree in 1994. She subsequently enrolled in the University of Alberta in 2000, where she graduated with honours and was named to the inaugural Dean's Honor List of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. She also garnered various clinical and academic accolades during her time there. View Profile
