Dr Griffin studied medicine at St Bartholomew’s Medical School, University of London, qualifying in 1993. She was awarded an MD in 2003 by University College London for her thesis on novel MRI techniques in the understanding of the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. She completed her neurological training at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, The Royal London Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital. Dr Griffin has published many papers on multiple novel MRI techniques and their role as surrogate markers of disease activity in multiple sclerosis. Dr. Bunce completed his studies at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London in 1991. Before starting as a research registrar in cardiovascular magnetic resonance at the Royal Brompton Hospital in 1998, he underwent training as a cardiology registrar in South West London. 2004 saw the appointment of Dr. Bunce to the position of Consultant in Cardiology for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance at St. George's Hospital. He was in charge of setting up a coronary care unit with six beds that received patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS), severe cardiac arrhythmias, or left ventricular failure needing inotropic support. Additionally, he was in charge of the twelve inpatient beds in the cardiothoracic unit, which served as both an admission ward for patients coming straight from Accident and Emergency as well as a ""step-down unit"" for patients in CCU. As part of a collaboration with St. Anthony's Hospital, Dr. Bunce started scanning patients with cardiovascular illnesses in October 2004. CMR was made possible at St. George's Hospital through collaboration with the Neuroscience division, first with a Philips 1.5T scanner and eventually a 3.0 T scanner. A Consultant Nephrologist or Kidney Specialist, Dr. Richard Hull has his NHS practice at St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. At Cambridge University, he pursued a career in medicine. As part of the South Thames Renal Programme, he finished his specialty training in renal medicine. As a Wellcome Trust Clinical PhD Fellow at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, Imperial College, he finished his PhD during this time. The majority of Dr. Hull's outpatient practice involves treating patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetic nephropathy, and hypertension in addition to his area of expertise in autoimmune renal disease. He oversees cohorts of dialysis patients at Kingston's St. George's Hospital. Dr. Hull is the NIHR South Thames Clinical Research's Speciality Group Lead for Renal Disorders. His clinical research interests are individuals with autoimmune renal illness, and he is a seasoned researcher for clinical investigations in renal anemia, dialysis, and IgA nephropathy, primary FSGS, and lupus nephritis. He serves on the steering committees for several quality improvement workstreams, including the CKD prevention and vascular access workstreams, as a member of the London Kidney network. Darren Lui obtained his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001 before pursuing a Master's in laboratory science. His course covered the potential and use of insulin as an anti-inflammatory medication. Darren Lui has experience working as a spinal fellow in hospitals in Hong Kong, Ireland, and England. He has received fellowship training in deformity & complex spinal surgery. After leaving the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital to work as a consultant in 2016, he joined the St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London. Darren Lui has supervised two Master of Science degrees in Science and has over 100 podium speeches, 25 peer-reviewed papers, and more to his credit.
