End-stage renal disease (ESRD), often known as kidney failure, is the last stage of chronic kidney disease. When your kidneys fail, it means they are no longer able to keep you alive without dialysis or a kidney transplant.
Unexplained renal failure
Kidneys can sometimes stop filtering and cleaning blood. This can lead to dangerously high quantities of waste products. Kidney (or renal) failure is the medical term for this condition. This can lead to death if not handled.
