Prior to finishing his orthopaedic surgery residency there, Dr. LaMothe earned his MD and PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Calgary. After that, he completed two one-year fellowships at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weil-Cornell Medical College in New York City. His two fellowships were in difficult foot and ankle reconstructive surgery for his second fellowship and orthopaedic trauma surgery for his first fellowship. Since 2014, he has been practising at the Peter Lougheed hospital with a focus on orthopaedic trauma and foot and ankle reconstruction. He oversees the surgical clerkship at the Cumming School of Medicine, leads the foot and ankle education for orthopaedic residents, and directs the foot and ankle fellowship. He also holds other provincial and local leadership positions, and he has received recognition for his dedication to orthopaedic surgery leadership and education. View Profile

Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, Dr. Ryan Frank. In Calgary, Alberta, he conducts a wide range of reconstructive and cosmetic operations. During his fellowship in paediatric and cosmetic surgery at the University of California, San Diego, Dr. Frank had the exceptional chance to learn from several top plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Born in Trail, British Columbia, Nanette Alvarez went to medical school in Kingston, Ontario. She finished her internship in New Zealand before completing her internal medicine residency in Montreal, Quebec, and Toronto, Ontario. In Toronto, she completed her subspecialty training in cardiology. After that, Dr. Alvarez spent two years in Calgary researching a variety of research interests. In 1989, she enrolled at the University of Calgary and decided to work as a staff member at the Calgary General Hospital. In the Department of Cardiac Sciences, she has the title of Associate Professor. Dr. Alvarez practises general cardiology, but her subspecialty interests include span arteriopathy, adult congenital heart disease, heart disease in women, and echocardiography.She oversees the Peter Lougheed Center's echocardiography department as well as the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic at the University of Calgary. At the University of Tehran, Dr. Ebadi received both his medical education and his residency training in neurology. In 1998, he began employment as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Gorgan in Iran. Between 2004 and 2005, he finished a clinical electrophysiology and neuromuscular disorders training programme at the Pitie-Salpetriere hospital, part of the University of Paris 6. From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Ebadi also finished a Clinical Fellowship in Neuromuscular Disorders at the University of Toronto. View Profile
