He completed a Masters of Science in Molecular Medicine at Imperial College, London, UK, after earning his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He finished his residency in internal medicine at SUNY Buffalo in New York, USA, and then pursued a clinical fellowship in medical oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in the same city. Cardiology specialist A/Prof Wong is. In 1989, he graduated with his MBBS from the National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the Singapore Academy of Medicine, and the Royal College of Physicians. At the National Heart Centre Singapore, A/Prof Wong completed advanced cardiology specialty training (NHCS). In his 26 years at NHCS, he has seen more than 40,000 outpatient consultations and carried out more than 5,000 cardiac surgeries. Prior to this, he served as an adjunct professor at Nanyang Technology University at Singapore's School of Materials Science. Research, medical innovation, and entrepreneurship are three things that A/Prof Wong is very interested in. He had a key role in both the 2005 construction of NHCS' first basic research laboratory and the 2014 development of the institute's present research facilities. He has over 65 peer-reviewed papers in the areas of clinical trials, medical devices, and cellular treatment, and he has served as the principal investigator in numerous interventional cardiology trials. In addition to being an orthopaedic surgeon at Raffles Hospital, Dr. David Wong has served as a visiting spine consultant to SGH since 2005 and Dubai Hospital since 2006. Dr. Wong earned his NUS degree in 1985 and completed his fellowship training at Nottingham's Queens Medical Centre in 1998. In-depth exposure to the treatment of a wide range of spine disorders, such as scoliosis, spinal tumours and infections, spinal fractures, and degenerative conditions causing neck and back discomfort, is part of his surgical training. He is qualified to do thoracoscopic scoliosis surgery as well as artificial disc replacement surgery for persistent neck and low back discomfort. In Australia, he finished his international clinical fellowship in upper limb and hand surgery. He then received the esteemed Shoulder, Elbow and Sports Medicine (ASIAN) Fellowship with Professor Louis U. Bigliani at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Over the course of his more than 19 years of orthopaedic practise, Dr. Lim has performed over 1000 procedures on the wrist, shoulder, and elbow. Including one book chapter in Advance in Elbow Reconstruction with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon and more than 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he reviewed articles for the Annals of the Academy of Medicine and the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Singapore As a result of his contributions to shoulder and elbow surgery, Dr. Lim is the only orthopaedic surgeon from Singapore to receive the coveted Honourary Member of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society award in 2014. In 2008, he developed the triple endobutton technique, a procedure to repair the acromioclavicular joint. This method is extensively employed throughout the world, and his original study has received more than 100 citations in peer-reviewed journals.
