At Singapore's Mount Elizabeth and Gleneagles Hospitals, Dr. Peter Ang treats cancer patients. He worked as a senior consultant medical oncologist and the director of the Cancer Education Service at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore from 2004 till he went into private practise. In order to assist with the establishment of the cancer genetics service, which serves patients with breast, ovarian, and other gynaecological cancers, Dr. Ang also served as a visiting consultant at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital. In 2002, he served as the primary cancer expert for the National Cancer Centre and SingHealth cluster's breast cancer workgroup. Along with his group of medical professionals, he participated in the cluster breast cancer health management plan's implementation in 2013. In 2004, he served as the programme director for the SingHealth Cancer Service Development Line's Public Cancer Education initiative. He received the National Excellent Service Award (EXSA) for therapeutic work in 2005. He assists patients with a variety of malignancies, including lung cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, kidney cancer, breast cancer, ovary cancer, uterus cancer, and cervix cancer, by offering thorough oncology knowledge and first-rate care. In addition to cancer genetics, he has actively participated in clinical and translational research on breast, lung, and colorectal malignancies. His research has appeared in both national and international journals, such as Respiratory Medicine, Chest, the Lancet Oncology, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Seminars in Oncology. He worked as the Senior Consultant at the Changi Sports Medicine Centre and the Deputy Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Changi General Hospital before going into private practise. Dr. Chan is a visiting senior lecturer at Nanyang Technological University's Master of Science programme and a clinical lecturer at the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Medicine (Biomedical Engineering). He served as the chairman of the arthroscopic shoulder and elbow course at the 2002 Asia Pacific Orthopaedic Society Medicine meeting as well as the course director of the shoulder and wrist workshop at the 2004 Annual Scientific Meeting. Dr. Chan is a pioneer in the treatment of scapulothoracic pain using arthroscopy in Singapore and specialises in minimally invasive techniques for the upper limbs that reduce post-operative discomfort, morbidity, and length of hospital stay. His own series of over 500 arthroscopic shoulder treatments includes lateral clavicle resection, capsulotomy for frozen shoulders, rotator cuff repair, subacromial decompression, and arthroscopic shoulder stabilisation. His other clinical specialisations include treating difficult distal radius fractures, fracture-dislocations around the shoulder, elbow, and wrist, fractures/nonunion of the clavicle, tennis elbow surgery, and nerve entrapment release. Dr. Charles Chan graduated from the University of Ireland with a first-class medical degree and went on to get a master's degree in surgery. He continued his studies in cardiology and was certified as a Board Specialist in Cardiology in Singapore in 1989. Dr. Chan worked as the Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Director for Adult Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the National Heart Centre in Singapore before beginning his own practise. Additionally, Dr. Chan has taken a leading role in both medical research and education. At the National University of Singapore, he served as a clinical associate professor of medicine. Additionally, he has worked as a clinical lecturer in cardiology at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, United Kingdom. He has evaluated articles for numerous medical and cardiology journals over the years, including Catheterization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Singapore Medical Journal. He has also served as a peer reviewer for several prestigious publications, including the International Journal of Cardiology, the Academy of Medicine, and the Specialist Advisory Panel of Annals. In the area of clinical research, Dr. Chan has also held a very significant position. Thoracic surgeon Dr. Harish Mithiran Muthiah practises at Singapore's Gleneagles Hospital. His clinical interests include robotic and minimally invasive thoracic surgery, lung oncology, and chest wall resection and reconstruction. Examples of these procedures include uniportal video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and RATS. He was a senior consultant thoracic surgeon in the National University Hospital's (NUH) department of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery and a previous visiting consultant in the general surgery departments of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr. Harish graduated from medical school, completed his basic surgical training, and then joined NUH where he started his cardiothoracic surgery training. He established the robotic thoracic surgery programme and the rib fracture fixation programme while he was at NUH. Since 2014, he has carried out more than 2,500 thoracic operations. He also uses cutting-edge lung surgical methods like navigational bronchoscopy, lung localization techniques, RATS, and U-VATS. He has more than 15 years of medical practise. He was a clinical tutor and the associate programme director for the cardiothoracic residency programme at the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Neurosurgeon Dr. Ho King Hee practises at Singapore's Gleneagles Hospital. He obtained more training in neurophysiology, giddiness, and balance issues. Before departing in 2001 to start a private practise, he spent several years instructing neurology and internal medicine at the National University of Singapore. He is currently serving as a consultant on a temporary basis at Singapore's National University Hospital. He serves as a scientific advisor on the Headache Society of Singapore's extended board. Dr. Ho served on the headache and cancer pain Clinical Practice Guideline Workgroups for the Singapore Ministry of Health. He also sits on the Pain Advisory Board of Singapore and was a longstanding Advisory Board member of the Epilepsy Care Group of Singapore. He was the founding president of the Singapore chapter of the International Headache Society and has published much on Singapore's headache epidemiology. He continues to regularly instruct family care physicians and neurology trainees while also enjoying his sporadic duties as an external examiner for postgraduate Family Medicine and Neurology candidates in Singapore. Prior to opening his own private practise, Dr. Lee served as the Director of the Vascular Program at the National Neuroscience Institute and the Head of the Neurosurgical Division at the National University Hospital. Including a first author publication in Lancet, Dr. Lee has contributed to more than 100 medical journal articles for worldwide publications. He has been given permission to conduct business in Christchurch, New Zealand, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, and Indonesia. Dr. Lee has also planned a number of workshops to help train upcoming neurosurgeons. Dr. Lee served on the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery's International Advisory Panel. Dr. Lee belongs to numerous societies and associations, including the Clinical Neuroscience Society, the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, the International Association for the Study of Pain, the Pain Association in Singapore, and the World Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery. \Haematologist Dr. Lim Zi Yi practises in Singapore at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. He is particularly interested in treating patients with recurrent or resistant hematopoietic malignancies employing combination therapies that include cellular therapy and targeted therapeutic agents. He also has a strong interest in haemato-oncology and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He has knowledge of several types of allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation as well as general haematological diseases such clotting abnormalities, anaemia, and bleeding disorders (including umbilical cord blood and halo-identical transplantation). Dr. Lim has been in charge of managing more than 350 bone marrow transplants since 2006. After earning his medical degree from the University of Edinburgh in the UK, Dr. Lim completed his haemato-oncology specialty training at King's College Hospital (KCH) in London. He assisted KCH in becoming one of Europe's leading centres for allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplants while he was working there. He has served as a visiting consultant at the National University Cancer Institute in Singapore ever since his return to the country in 2011. He oversaw the adult haematopoietic stem cell transplant programme at Parkway Cancer Centre as well as the adult leukaemia service at National University Health System. Dr. Lim has been invited to provide presentations on the treatment of acute leukaemia and the use of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at numerous regional and worldwide conferences. Dr. Tan Seng Hoe has more than 20 years of expertise as a kidney practitioner. He currently sees patients with a variety of kidney-related illnesses in his clinics at the Mount Elizabeth Novena, Mount Elizabeth, and Gleneagles Hospitals. Dr. Tan Seng Hoe received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 1990). He pursued advanced specialty training in renal medicine at the Division of Nephrology in National University Hospital after finishing his foundational studies in internal medicine. Then, in 2000, he sought additional training in peritoneal dialysis at the Division of Nephrology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, USA, thanks to a scholarship from the Health Manpower Development Programme. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2004 and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2000. Dr. Tan worked as a senior consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital's Renal Medicine Unit before entering private practise. He was instrumental in developing the Unit and later served as its Founding Head. Dr. Tan is dedicated to the nephrology community in various ways. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a strong proponent of training and shaping future medical professionals.
