At Singapore's Mount Elizabeth and Gleneagles Hospitals, Dr. Peter Ang treats cancer patients. He worked as a senior consultant medical oncologist and the director of the Cancer Education Service at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore from 2004 till he went into private practise. In order to assist with the establishment of the cancer genetics service, which serves patients with breast, ovarian, and other gynaecological cancers, Dr. Ang also served as a visiting consultant at the KK Women's and Children's Hospital. In 2002, he served as the primary cancer expert for the National Cancer Centre and SingHealth cluster's breast cancer workgroup. Along with his group of medical professionals, he participated in the cluster breast cancer health management plan's implementation in 2013. In 2004, he served as the programme director for the SingHealth Cancer Service Development Line's Public Cancer Education initiative. He received the National Excellent Service Award (EXSA) for therapeutic work in 2005. He assists patients with a variety of malignancies, including lung cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, lymphoma, kidney cancer, breast cancer, ovary cancer, uterus cancer, and cervix cancer, by offering thorough oncology knowledge and first-rate care. In addition to cancer genetics, he has actively participated in clinical and translational research on breast, lung, and colorectal malignancies. His research has appeared in both national and international journals, such as Respiratory Medicine, Chest, the Lancet Oncology, the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Seminars in Oncology. "Illustrative Cases in Breast Cancer," a book about breast cancer, was edited and primarily written by him. He gives frequent lectures both domestically and overseas.

In 1982, Dr. Ang Peng Tiam received a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He completed a residency in internal medicine, and in 1986 he was awarded a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine). In 1989, he finished his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Stanford University Medical Center and the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. In 1977, Dr. Ang received the Singapore President's Scholarship. As the top candidate in the Master of Medicine Clinical Examinations in 1986, he received the Prof Sir Gordon Arthur Ransome Gold Medal. In 1996, he received Singapore's National Science Award for his excellent contributions to medical research. He received a datukship from the Sultan of Kedah in 2003 as thanks for his public work. From 1991 to 1997, Dr. Ang served as the organization's first Head of the Medical Oncology Division at Singapore General Hospital. At the NUS Faculty of Medicine, he simultaneously held the positions of Director of the Oncology Center and Clinical Associate Professor. At the National Cancer Centre, he is still a visiting consultant. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Cancer Society and the Chairman of the Breast Cancer Foundation's Medical Advisory Committee.

In addition to serving as the associate programme director for the SingHealth Internal Medicine residency and the director of education for the SingHealth Group, Dr. Koo Wen Hsin is a senior consultant in the division of medical oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). Dr. Koo also holds faculty appointments at the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Duke-NUS Medical School. The Academic Medicine Education Institute was also founded by him (AMEI). He led the various institutions in successfully transitioning to senior residency in medical oncology throughout his tenure as chairman of the Medical Oncology Specialist Training Committee for a number of years. Dr. Koo assisted in setting up and gave oncologic training to doctors at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Changi General Hospital, and KKH Women's and Children's Hospital with the same spirit of cooperation. In addition, Dr. Koo has started a lot of new educational initiatives for the improvement and training of medical professionals.
